MY Reading Reflection

My name is Kelsey,I go to University neighborhood middle School and i never used to like to read...until i stopped being lazy and started looking for good books.their are great books in the world that i never thought i would read,such as the twilight sereies.this book is magnificent,the way its writen and the way it explains everything.These books makes you want to read it over and over and over again ...(which I have)

There are also other books that I read called the series of unfortunate events
that series was also good there were great mystery's and mix-ups more people coming and and solving mystery's.




This is why i like to read now because you never know what kind of books there are....

My Writing Reflection

I really don't like to write.It hurts my hand sometimes and you have to use those transition words and its hard to remember to use those.When people tell me to write something there are only a few things that run through my mind...

1. Omg omg dont panic....just copy somebody next to you
2. no no no,just try to write anything that sounds like it makes sense
3. go to the bathroom and never come back
4. just write and get it over with

I usually go with the idea of number 2 &4
Sometimes Ms.shah(Big Boss)says that practice makes perfect
but even though i have practice I still dont get.

Writing Reflction

Writing has always been something I liked and still enjoy it.When it comes to writing I can get started pretty quickly.I think I use and know enough transition words.But I would love to learn and use more.A few transition words I know are;In the beginning,at first in the end,however and ect.My future goals would be not to rely on the teachers for help as much,Using transition words more,using bigger words and more specific examples.

Reading this

Hi my name is Shakeera. I go to U.N.M.S,I'm in 8th grade. I came to this school in 2008. In September I didn't really read.I found reading boring.When I read I would only read if I had to,never for fun. I also didn't read because it was boring, a little difficult, and I couldn't find a book that caught my eye.It sometimes took a long time to read and I wouldn't quite get what the book was about.Or sometimes I would get distracted and not or read when I was on the train and log it as reading for homework.Though it's June and I don't love reading I find it more interesting.Sometimes i read for fun but still mostly read if its mandatory.Even though I still don't like to read I've improved.I improved on my reading,reading more,and reading for fun.Another reason I've come to read more is when I met Stephenie Meyers Twilight series,it caight my eye and I became a little addicted.The Twilight series caught my eye because everyone in school was talking about it and I saw several teen and adults reading it on the train.I thought "why dose everyone find that book series interesting,it seems fiction and way to long.But when I first began to read it I could'nt put it down or stop myself from reading the rest of the series.Now im finished with all the books and sometimes stumble across a book that catches my eye.I also highly recommend the Twilight series for people 12yrs.old and up its out of this world
